Palace Of The King’s New Album Reaches Mars

Palace Of The King press shot

If Led Zeppelin and The Black Keys ever had a love child it would be Melbourne stoner blues rockers Palace Of The King! The psychedelic sextet is on a roll. It’s been less than a year since the release of critically acclaimed debut album ‘White Bird/Burn The Sky’ but the band is back with Martian-friendly sophomore album ‘Valles Marineris’.

This time around the 6-piece are determined to raise their mark on the international scale through their eclectic 10-track feast of raw imagination, textured layers, and a dose of nostalgia.

“I feel like we’re really honing in on our own distinctive sound now,” Frontman Tim Henwood says. “It’s from the heart and we can’t wait to let this one out of the box.”

Since their conception in late 2012, the rockers have played over 300 shows, capturing hearts of heavy music lovers everywhere with high-energetic chaos and their own unique spin of old-school rock.

‘Valles Marineris’ will be available Friday 29th July, but if you can’t wait that long it’s not a problem. Over the next few months Palace Of The King will be playing a string of live shows, so get on down and join the thrills!
