Planet release video for Reason Why and announce Australian Tour

Indie rockers Planet have released a new animated psychedelic video for their latest single ‘Reason Why’. The video was created by artist Callum Scott-Dyson and  submerses you into a wild trip, and is executed perfectly alongside Reason Why.

Speaking about the video, director Scott-Dyson says the clip is an, “abstract exploration of an existential crisis, the protagonist (of sorts) struggling through his dreams and reality, exploring his past and frustrating present.

Frontman Matty Took explained that he wrote Reason Why 5 years ago. “Lyrically it’s all about uncertainty, imbalance, mental confusion and being uninspired. Melodically, it is dreamy and flowing, which counteracts with the duelling riff that smacks you in the face.

Planet have had anything but a small year. The boys have had huge success with the release of their previous single ‘Never New’ via new label partner Dew Process, played festivals around the world, and now to finish off the year they have announced an Australian Tour.
