Platonic Sex Share Their 5 Favourite Bands Performing at Mountain Goat Valley Crawl 2024

The ninth annual Mountain Goat Valley Crawl is set to take place across eight different stages on Saturday, the 10th, Feb. Featuring an all-star bill including These New South Whales, Peach Fur, Raave Tapes, Platonic Sex, Sesame Girl, plus heaps more! It will be a fun day out with pals set out across a wide variety of Fortitude Valley’s best venues.
To celebrate the event and get everyone excited, today, we have Platonic Sex share with us their five favourite bands performing on the bill and why.
Bean Magazine – Nobody Wore Shoes

Last year, Brando played a really wholesome acoustic at the Triffid alongside Henry from Bean Magazine. It was such an entertaining set and I can’t wait to yell and headbop along to this song in full band mode!

RAAVE Tapes – I Will Let You Down

O.M.G. I love RAAVE TAPES! They are always the most fun to watch and this is a hot masterpiece of a song. I bet it won’t let me down… lol.

Coldwave – No Conflict

I saw Coldwave at BIGSOUND last year and loved their post-punk goodness. ‘No Conflict’ is a perfect shake-about type song and there’s a trumpet on it! That’s a hoot.

Asha Jefferies – Cruise Control

This song makes me feel teary-eyed! It’s so beautiful and I can’t wait to hear it live. The lyrics, the feeling – it’s life-is-a-movie type music. I can’t wait, I can’t wait!

These New South Whales – Under The Process

These New South Whales always make me want to jump around, I love it. Hoping that this song makes their set at the festival, I’ve seen it before and I wanna hear it again!!!!
