Premiere: All Her Years Reveal New Single ‘The Meadow’

Today we’re thrilled to exclusively premiere Sydney multi‑genre outfit All Her Years’ brand new single The Meadow a day before its official release. Known for their seamless fusion of rock, folk, and blues, the band once again delivers a rich, atmospheric track that blurs genre lines and pushes their sound into new territory.

The Meadow is a layered, hypnotic journey — equal parts introspection and momentum. Lyrically, it explores the tension between growth and self‑preservation, confronting personal truths while holding onto what matters most. With swirling instrumentation and raw, emotive vocals, the track captures the band’s signature ability to create immersive sonic landscapes.

“The Meadow is a whirlwind on the river bed. 

Part statement, part reflection, it is the need to move forward while trying to keep the best parts of yourself, even if that means facing the not so best parts of yourself. The Meadow marks a shift in operations for All Her Years, from a near 6 minute dirge-like ballad, to a more concise dream-like biography of a world unseen. This song tries to keep things simple with its almost hypnotic rhythm guitar that fluctuates gently from verse to chorus, and the bass line adding a hop to the step of whatever meadow you could find yourself in.” – All Her Years. 

Fans of Brian Jonestown Massacre and The Slingers will find plenty to love here, but The Meadow also stands as a bold statement of All Her Years’ individuality.

The single is the latest taste of their upcoming EP, further cementing the group’s place in Sydney’s thriving inner‑west scene. To celebrate the release, All Her Years will host a launch show at Sneaky Possum, Sydney, on August 8, joined by Lucas Cavanagh & The Train Wrecks and MJ.
