PREMIERE: Being Jane Lane Unleash New Single ‘Ordinary Shell’
Brisbane indie pop punk outfit Being Jane Lane are back with a punch and we’re thrilled to exclusively premiere their brand new single, Ordinary Shell ahead of it’s official release tomorrow.
Lifted form their sophomore album, We’re Doing Fine, the track bursts with a nostalgic alt-rock charm, delivering an infectious energy from the moment that play button is pressed. With its anthemic singalong chorus and signature raw edge, Ordinary Shell is a testament to the bands ability to craft high energy, emotionally charged punk jams.
Also set for release tomorrow, We’re Doing Fine marks a significant evolution for the band, delving into themes of love, loss, resilience and political reflection. Showcasing a more introspective side of the queer punk pioneers, the album is a result of two years of perseverance and self-reliance.

“We’re doing fine” is the little album that could. It’s been 2 years and a whole bunch of hurdles, eventually turning into a lesson in self reliance. We loved working with Jay Whalley. We love the songs. We hope you do too!” – Being Jane Lane.
To celebrate the new release, Being Jane Lane are heading on the road stopping in Brisbane, Toowoomba, Gold Coast, Newcastle, Melbourne and more.
