PREMIERE: Cking Seeks Absolution Amongst Redemption On ‘Sorry’

Cking possesses a fluent and progressive way with words. His rhymes flow so effortlessly to the beat of his trap-inspired production. Sorry, the Brisbane rapper’s latest, he excels at texture and grit in equal and measure—something the genre has lacked.

Cking is already an accomplished rapper with two albums, an EP, a mixtape and countless singles to his name. He’s been building a core, enthusiastic fan base which has earned him support slots amongst T-Pain, Drapht, Futuristic and Mobb Deep, just to name a few.

From the get-go, Cking is in complete sync with himself and beat. The nuance of his incredible vocal doesn’t go unnoticed, however, as he transitions from floating almost-spoken words and his spit-fire rap. Sorry opens with straight up with the chorus from Zimbabwean-born, Melbourne resident, KUDZAI.

Overall, Sorry is about contemplation and reflection. Cking projects these mannerisms with no hesitation. As the songs builds, so does Cking’s emotive flair into an explosive moment of redemption.
