PREMIERE: Dave Is A Spy Release Sunny Rock Stunner “Tindersoul”
Brisbane’s most musical secret service Dave Is A Spy are back will a killer new single for lovers of epic drum rolls, crunchy guitar, and late 90s ska. The new single Tindersoul follows the recent release of their seriously upbeat track Sleeping Car and its behind-the-scenes music video.
Channelling some serious ‘Mighty Mighty Bosstones The Impression That I Get vibes, Tindersoul is a high-energy rock track with just the right amount of horns to cement its super catchy chorus deep inside your head. It’s simple, charming, and the honestly just the perfect rock vibe to kick back to on your next sunny Sunday arvo.
“Tindersoul is this kind of abstract story about a guy that you know that keeps having life-ending accidents happen to him, but for some reason he always survives them, and after a while you start to wonder whether he’s even human,” says frontman Fin Taylor.
Since forming in late-2013 Dave Is A Spy have been busy refining their sound while playing over 50 shows across Queensland, including Rockin’ For The Homeless with Mental As Anything.
To celebrate the release of Tindersoul, Dave Is A Spy will be launching the single at The Foundry on Friday, 16th of September, supporting Sydney’s The Kava Kings and local rock acts Mary Handsome and The Halls.
