Mights & Maybes is about the feeling of a lack of achievement, blowing off opportunities to stay at home in your safe space and never taking the leap to actually do what you want to do. It’s also the potential feeling of regret as you look back through your life as it’s finished and the speculation of how you’re remembered by the people around you as they grow old. It’s something we felt was quite a common feeling amongst most people and it’s something that hits home for us.”
Grub’s upcoming EP, Pulling Teeth, due out on August 30, promises to build on the introspective and dynamic sound showcased in Mights & Maybes. The band recently released the title track and its accompanying music video, garnering international airplay and solidifying their growing presence in the alt-rock scene. The lads from Newcastle continue to impress with their honest lyricism and compelling musicality, making Pulling Teeth one of the most anticipated releases of the year. Be sure to check out Mights & Maybes and get a taste of what’s to come from Grub.
