Premiere: Slow Cinema Light It Up With Their New Single, ‘Faye’s Fever Flow’
Newcastle alt rock newbies, Slow Cinema will this week unveil their new single, Faye’s Fever Flow. We’re super stoked to be giving you the very first listen of the magnetic new jam.
Faye’s Fever Flow is a smooth bopping track that gives off that classic indie rock feel. Kicking in with a mellow toe tapping vibe, it elevates into a burst of energy as we hit the chorus. It’s a longer number, evolving over five minutes. Dreamy and twangy guitar work filter you into the land of clouds as it rolls along.
“Faye’s Fever Flow follows the tale of an ageing recluse battling an immense fever and her slip and spiral into delusion, denial and despair. Driven by phantom visions of youth, Faye denies her fate – even when the proof is written in her eyes. As she fades, he disguise crumbles, revealing a fever ravaged Faye facing her fate and screaming her goodbyes.” – Slow Cinema
The band are set to perform the new single at a small run of shows in Sydney and Newcastle in March. If the new single is anything to go by you know the shows are set to go off!
Faye’s Fever Flow is available 25th Feb but you can listen right here exclusively, today!
