Prepare Your Mouthguard: The Coathangers Announce Australian Tour
Get ready to get your rocks off, American punk-rockers The Coathangers are heading down under to support their latest album ‘Nosebleed Weekend’. This string of shows will mark the band’s first shows in Australia since early last year.
Now in their tenth year, The Coathangers career began way back in 2007 with the release of their self-title debut album. The 3-piece from Atlanta combines punk rock and garage sounds to make for highly energetic songwriting.
2014 saw the band release their most commercially accepted album to date with ‘Suck My Shirt’. Much of the groups fame stems from their typically amusing song titles, including Don’t Touch My Shit, Nestle In My Boobies, and Shut The F*ck Up.
Fans can expect an energetic show from The Coathangers as they bring their new material back down under. General tickets will go on sale on June 27th.
