Punk Duo The Hard Aches Release Wild New Music Video

Buckle up, rockers! Punk pair The Hard Aches have released a funky music video for Glad You’re Gone, ahead of yet another tour announcement for August.

Bluejuice meets Frenzal Rhomb in the Adelaide duo’s delicious new song with its Australian accents and heavy major chord progressions. The upbeat tempo and loveable vocals give this song a happy-go-lucky vibe that makes you sing every chorus. Be warned, the catchy tune will stay stuck in your head for a while, it’s feel-good pub rock at it’s best.

In the video, frontman Ben David (BD) is leaving his girlfriend and enjoying his new found freedom a little too much. From laying in gutters to peeing in lakes, we’re taken with BD on his painful and (somewhat embarrassing) journey to rock bottom.

The reverse camera effects see beer coming out of his mouth and vomit going in- and as much as we want to look away, it’s just too cool not to love. In a strange way, we can all relate to this video, right??

The Hard Aches have just wrapped up their tour with Tired Lion where they debuted the new song to scores of crowds across the nation. Now, just days after they finished that tour, the duo have announced they’ll be supporting Tassie punk rockers Luca Brasi on their upcoming tour, starting in August. Maybe the next announcement will be a third album?
