Punk Songstress Beth Lucas Drops Fresh New Full-Band Jam

Brisbane-based songstress Beth Lucas has dropped her punchy new single Blindfold. The rock jam serves as a taster to Lucas’ new full band sound as she transitions from her renowned acoustic vibe.

Blindfold is an empowered tune with soft punk instrumentation and a catchy chorus. Lucas’ switch from acoustic to a full band sound should see her make waves in the scene.

Lyrically, the track is a slap to the face of cheaters and betrayers of trust. “I wrote the song from a personal experience a few ago where it was strongly suggested that a certain outcome would be in my favour, but when it came down to it, I’d actually been lied to the entire time by someone who had absolutely no control over the outcome or situation,” said Lucas.

Drawing inspiration from the likes of Paramore, Major League, and A Loss For Words, Blindfold is a great indication of what’s to come from Lucas’ upcoming second EP ‘Violence’, set for release later this year.
