Put Those Wallets Down, The Rubens Announce Massive FREE Tour

Stop the presses! Newcastle rockers The Rubens have teamed up with Corona to announce they will be playing twenty-two free live shows across Australia! The Corona SunSets tour will kick off in Sydney this November, before going on to play venues across the country until December. The run of shows will see an exciting series at more down-to-earth venues like surf clubs, taverns, and hotels. And yes, to clarify all twenty-two shows, located in rural towns/non capital cities, will be FREE. 

The guys know how to party when it comes to their live show, just incase you’re worried. They’ve played some huge stages, including last year’s Splendour In The Grass, and Groovin’ The Moo this year, alongside a huge run of headline tours. Their shows are known for the kinds of sing-alongs and antics that can come only from a band that is all over your favourite playlists.

Last year, The Rubens unleashed ‘Hoops’, the titular single of their latest album which launched them to the #1 spot on Triple J’s Hottest 100 of 2015, becoming the anthem of the year. The band had previously scored themselves a stack of awards and nominations, as well as taking out platinum sales status back in 2012 for release of their debut self-titled album.
