Remi Drops New Video & Announces National Tour

Remi

Melbourne-based rapper Remi has teamed up once again with frequent collaborator Sensible J to drop a new video for their latest track For Good featuring Sampa The Great. Inspired by Afrobeat, the track is smooth and soulful and Sampa’s beautiful vocals make it surprisingly catchy despite the sad lyrical content.

The music video takes a literal interpretation of the narrative behind the song, exploring a relationship that has come to an end.

Remi explains “the inspiration behind the song is mad basic. I was a scandalous prick, I and wanted to outline how it went down and how it effected [sic] everyone involved. The best way to do this was to have both the male and female perspective.”

Remi and Sensible J’s latest offering is just a taste of their upcoming album ‘Divas and Demons’ which is set to drop later this year. But until then Remi will be hitting the road on a national tour and while the Melbourne rapper has performed with the likes of Damon Albarn, he has no problem commanding the stage on his own and his entertaining live shows are not to be missed!

You can catch Remi with special guests Man Made Mountain on the For Good tour this May or if you can’t wait that long check out his set at Groovin The Moo.
