Rescheduled: L7 Announces First Australian Tour Since The 90’s

Californian punk rock outfit L7, who were one of the acts announced for the now-cancelled Soundwave 2016, have finally announced a highly anticipated Australian tour.

It’s been a long hiatus for the all female punk band, in fact 13 years to be exact! They were leaders of the American underground music movement and defied many gender expectations in punk rock. l7 dominated the punk music scene throughout the 90s with hits Shitlist, Pretend We’re Dead, Everglade, Slide and Fuel My Fire.

Since reuniting in 2014, the punk quartet have played shows across America, showing once again why L7 was one of Kurt Cobain’s favourite bands. Billboard said that”Seeing L7 Reunited onstage wasn’t a nostalgic pleasure, it felt more like a privilege.”
