Rival Consoles Announce Australian Shows

Releasing one of this year’s most formative and moving contextual electronic albums, Rival Consoles—aka Ryan Lee West—is touring Australia for the very first time for three exclusive shows.

Touring behind his most enviable and awe-inspiring record yet, ‘Persona’, Rival Consoles is mainly here for Strawberry Fields—playing alongside Honey Dijon and many more. Additionally, he’ll play two headline shows, one in Sydney and Melbourne respectively. The Melbourne location will be announced soon, while the Sydney show will take place at Oxford Art Factory.

‘Persona’ is an intelligent and calculated move for the producer. Recorded at his studio in south-east London, ‘Persona’ benefits from Ryan’s exploration of a dynamic production process that combines analogue-heavy synthesisers, acoustic and electric instruments with a shoegaze-level obsession with effect pedals. His live shows are set to be a jaw-dropping showcase of audio and visual prowess.
