Royel Otis Usher in a New Era With Infectious New Single ‘Moody’

Award-winning Australian duo Royel Otis return with their latest single, ‘Moody’, a breezy alt-pop anthem primed for global airwaves. Co-written with GRAMMY-winning songwriter Amy Allen and produced by hitmaker Blake Slatkin(known for his work with Charli XCX, Gracie Abrams and Omar Apollo), the track marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the critically acclaimed Sydney outfit.

With its slacker-pop charm, infectious hooks and late ’90s-inspired groove, ‘Moody’ is both seasonally versatile and emotionally resonant — the perfect winter soundtrack for Australia and a summer-ready earworm for international audiences. The track showcases the signature synergy of Royel Maddell and Otis Pavlovic, whose knack for balancing laid-back vibes with sharp songwriting continues to set them apart in the indie-pop landscape.

Fans can catch them on their newly announced ‘Meet Me in the Car’ North American tour, including stops at major festivals like Governors Ball, Lollapalooza, and Outside Lands, cementing their status as one of Australia’s most exciting musical exports.
