Running Touch Drops Funky New Single “Aubrey” feat. Ira Horace

Aussie electronic new-comer Running Touch has just dropped his funky new dance track Aubrey. The artist teamed up with rapper Ira Horace, who features with some smooth verses in the killer new track!

The up-tempo track can only be described as a fusion between Michael Jackson pop and Klangarussell production, tied together with a dreamy soundscape similar to Flume. The contrasting vocal dynamics flow perfectly as the two producers paired up to give us soulful melodies matched with husky rhymes. As Running Touch’s first collaboration, he decided to go big or go home while “recalling that 80s funk aura and injecting a new age reliability through rap”.

Never heard of Running Touch? He’s a Melbourne-based, multi-talented producer, and although he’s new to the Australian music scene, he’s wasting no time making a name for himself! Named the In The Mix number seven Australian artist to watch in 2016, Running Touch has released several singles including chart topper Courtesy Of, and has performed extensively throughout Australia securing spots on big stages like Splendour In The Grass, Groovin’ The Moo, and Listen Out.

Heavily influenced by artists such as Chet Faker (who wants us to call him by his real name, Nick Murphy) and London Grammar, the multi-talented artist plays the guitar, drums, and piano and has some wicked skills on the launch pad. Running Touch loves to showcase his wide range of vocal talents which vary from his ace rapping skills to his soothing melodic lyrics.

Running Touch’s East Coast ‘The Absolute PM Tour’ is coming to an end, but never fear! Running Touch is staying on the road and is set to tour with SAFIA on their ‘Internal’ Album Tour starting this September, so be sure to grab a ticket.
