Sarah Kinsley Reveals Anticipated Debut Album, ‘Escaper’

New York-based artist Sarah Kinsley has unveiled her highly anticipated debut album, Escaper, a 12-track journey exploring themes of escape, self-discovery, and emotional vulnerability. Kinsley describes Escaper as a reflection on using alternate realities to avoid pain, while ultimately choosing to confront life’s imperfections as a way to move forward.

The album includes previously released singles Realms, Starling, and Last Time We Never Meet Again, as well as the powerful new track Knights. Kinsley describes Knights as an explosive ballad that challenges traditional ideals of chivalry, highlighting feminine strength.

“It is a story dedicated to the spiral of how we use alternate realms and faraway places to escape grief, to not let pain find us. Portals to other places allow us to become anything, anyone. This album is the symbol for choosing the real and the imaginary—returning to a world of flaws and emotion as a means of moving forward. Escaper is my attempt to offer the only way I know how to make sense of my life in its smallness and great entirety—through music.” – Sarah Kinsley.

Co-produced with Grammy-winning producer John Congleton, Escaper blends Kinsley’s classical music roots with her love for grand, pop-driven soundscapes. As she embarks on a headline tour across North America and Europe, including sold-out shows in Los Angeles, Kinsley continues to captivate with her unique blend of introspective, cinematic pop.

Her previous EP, The King, went viral on TikTok, establishing her as one of the most exciting new voices in indie pop.
