Second Line Up Announcement For A Rock & Roll Writers Festival
The 2017 A Rock & Roll Writers Festival has announced its second round lineup! The festival, which will be held at Brisbane’s The Old Museum in April 2017 will celebrate the crucial relationship between writing and music.
With Rolling Stone as the festival’s exclusive media partner, as well as support from APRA-AMCOS, Avid Reader, and Brisbane store Sonic Sherpa, the festival is set to be a cultural experience not to be missed! Previously announced speakers include Holly George-Warren (USA), as well as Nick Earls, Sophie Howarth, and many more.
The second announcement sees a selection of speakers added to the lineup including musicians, novelists, journalists, and even legendary rock photographer Tony Mott. You Am I frontman Tim Rogers has been confirmed for the event as well as Kirsty Eager, Liam Pieper, Melissa Lucashenko, and The Australian’s legendary music writer veteran Iain Shedden.
