Sideshow Alley: Byron Bay Bluesfest 2019

Update 07/11 1.40pm: Another big round of Bluesfest artists have announced sideshows around the country. This slew includes David Grat, Snarky Puppy, Flogging Molly, Shakey Graves and more.

Original Story: With only one lineup announcement down, Byron Bay Bluesfest is already looking to be one of the best. So it should, as the festival is celebrating its 30th anniversary! Organisers have let loose on some pretty hefty sideshows for the international acts heading our way.

Acts like Jack Johnson, Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals and George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic will be playing exclusively at the festival—the latter of which will be playing for the very last time in Australia. Festival favourite St Paul & The Broken Bones will also be playing alongside Nahko and The Medicine For The People, Tex Perkins, Richard Clapton, Kurt Vile & The Violators and many, many more.

Byron Bay Bluesfest runs from Thursday 18 April to Monday 22 April at the Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm. Tickets are already on sale with some special pricing. You can claim your tickets HERE.

However, with the festival only taking place in Byron Bay, not everyone can make it.
