SINGLE SPOTLIGHT: Stonefox’s Super Chill New Single ‘Dreamstate’

After releasing their debut EP ‘Surface’ and amassing over 2.5 million plays on Spotify, Melbourne 3-piece Stonefox are back with their fresh single Dreamstate.

With their ambient, unique and honest sound, these beat makers have flirted with the top of Hype Machine’s charts, and have been featured by Youtube’s Majestic Casual during their short existence as a band.

Dreamstate features some seriously chill vibes, sporting muted guitar licks and thumping drum beats. Tight and sparkly guitar riffs simmer with ambient synthesisers, as the pretty production brings to mind the likes of Japanese Wallpaper and Snakadaktal.

Vocals on the track are lush and gorgeous with simple harmonies bringing a dreamy pop feel. Featuring dual vocalists, the contrast between feminine and masculine voices fleshes out the track and creates diversity, setting the song apart from their previous works.
