Solid Effort’s New Single “Too Far Gone” Is Nostalgically Glorious

Self characterised “leisure punks”, Solid Effort have released their fresh single Too Far Gone, a laid back, coastal, indie-punk banger full of mystifying instrumentals and nostalgic vibes.

The 5-piece released their EP Ballad Bulli last year and ever since have ridden a whirlwind of energy and success to bring us their latest effort. Too Far Gone’s nostalgic guitar and distanced vocals throw us straight back to the 70s, where young love roamed free and the use of a condom was a forgotten safety procedure.

In all seriousness however, the track is a nostalgic, summery gem. Combining new age instrumental techniques with ol’ skool sounds has proven a catchy as hell way to produce music.

In celebration of Too Far Gone’s release, Solid Effort will be doing a string of shows in Sydney and Brisbane starting this week!
