South Summit’s Favourite Australian Debuts

West Australia’s favourite sons South Summit  have just released their third single for 2024, titled ‘Catacombs’. The soulful new track comes alongside the announcement ‘The Bliss’; the band’s long-awaited debut album set for release on the 8th of November.

To celebrate, the band have listed some of their favourite Aussie debuts.

“First up, Innerspeaker by Tame Impala is a total game-changer for us. Kevin Parker’s psychedelic vibes put Perth on the map and have been a huge inspiration. We can’t get enough of “Solitude Is Bliss” it’s the perfect mix of dreamy and groovy.

Next, we’re all about Honey Bones by Dope Lemon. This album is pure chill with its laid-back vibes, and every track is a winner. “Stonecutters” is our top jam, it’s got that smooth, feel good groove.

And we can’t forget Walking on a Dream by Empire of the Sun. This one’s an all-time fave! The production is out of this world, and “Walking on a Dream” always pulls us back in with its epic hooks and dreamy soundscapes.

These debut albums are absolute bangers!”
