Spacey Jane Announce New Album ‘If That Makes Sense’ and Drop Single ‘All The Noise’

Australian indie-rock icons Spacey Jane are kicking off 2025 with a bang, announcing their third studio album, If That Makes Sense, set for release on May 9. To mark the occasion, the Perth quartet has unveiled the album’s lead single, All The Noise, a captivating track blending anthemic guitar work, dreamy melodies, and that signature SJ heartfelt storytelling.

The new single delves into frontman Caleb Harper’s reflections on his parents’ tumultuous relationship, expressed with raw emotion and set against the energetic rhythm section of bassist Peppa Lane and drummer Kieran Lama. Ashton Hardman-Le Cornu’s intricate riffs add an anthemic touch, making this track a standout addition to Spacey Jane’s evolving sound.

“I suppose there was something about being down under again that made my version of the story of the beginning of my life feel so vivid. It’s angry, but not at someone, and it’s sad because I can’t quite get to the bottom of what or who made me. It might be my favourite riff of Ashton’s and the tightest Peppa and Kieran have ever locked. It’s gonna be so fun live and we’re beyond excited to be sharing our first new music in over a year.” – Caleb Harper, Spacey Jane.

Produced by Mike Crossey (known for work with The 1975 and Arctic Monkeys) and featuring collaborations with notable songwriters Jackson “Day Wave” Phillips and Sarah Aarons, If That Makes Sense promises to be the band’s most ambitious project yet. The album explores themes of love, loss, and personal growth, embracing both vulnerability and resilience.

To celebrate, Spacey Jane are treating fans to a series of intimate shows, playing a mix of beloved hits and new tracks in iconic venues across Perth, Sydney, and Melbourne. With two acclaimed albums behind them, the band is set to make 2025 their biggest year yet.
