Spacey Jane Release Highly Anticipated Third Album ‘If That Makes Sense’
Australian indie-rock favourites Spacey Jane have officially released their much-anticipated third studio album, ‘If That Makes Sense’, marking a bold new chapter in the band’s acclaimed discography. The Perth-based quartet have delivered their most ambitious record yet, expanding their sonic palette and diving deeper into emotional themes of love, trauma, and healing.
Produced by Mike Crossey (The 1975, Arctic Monkeys, Wolf Alice), the album features songwriting contributions from Jackson Phillips (Day Wave) and Sarah Aarons (Childish Gambino, Miley Cyrus), blending raw introspection with crisp, genre-blurring production.
“This album means the world to us. It was born and built far away from home and we poured three years of our lives into it. I’m still figuring out what it’s about, maybe someone can tell me. We’re so proud of it and grateful that it now belongs to you.”– Caleb Harper, Spacey Jane.

Alongside the album release, Spacey Jane unveiled a brand-new music video for the standout track ‘Whateverrrr’, giving fans a first glimpse into the visual world of the record.
‘If That Makes Sense’ follows the success of 2022’s ‘Here Comes Everybody’ and their breakout debut ‘Sunlight’, which included the hit single ‘Booster Seat’ — voted Triple J’s Song of the Year and earning the band an ARIA Award.
To celebrate the new album, Spacey Jane have announced a massive world tour, with dates across Australia, North America (including Austin City Limits), and Europe, solidifying their status as one of Australia’s most internationally loved bands.
