Spacey Jane Share Reflective New Single ‘Through My Teeth’ Ahead of Forthcoming Album

Beloved Australian indie-rock band Spacey Jane have returned with their latest single, Through My Teeth, a dreamy and emotionally charged track lifted from their upcoming album If That Makes Sense, set for release on May 9.

Opening the album, Through My Teeth blends shimmering guitars with frontman Caleb Harper’s introspective lyricism, exploring themes of growing up, guilt, and emotional dissonance. It’s the third glimpse into what’s shaping up to be the band’s most personal and polished project to date.

“We’re really happy to have this song out in the world. It’s one of our favourites off the record and we can’t wait for you to hear it. It has a longing and nostalgia that made us all fall in love with the song – it goes and goes until the very last fill, and we felt it was the perfect way to start the record.”Spacey Jane.

The single follows earlier releases How To Kill Houseplants and All The Noise, which have already sparked critical acclaim from outlets like Paste and PAPER for their heartfelt lyrics and indie-rock craftsmanship. Produced by Mike Crossey (The 1975, Arctic Monkeys), the album also features songwriting contributions from Day Wave and Sarah Aarons.

With two ARIA-nominated albums under their belt and the smash success of ‘Booster Seat’ still echoing, Spacey Janeare now set to embark on a massive Australia and New Zealand tour this May through July, supported by The Moving Stills, Phoebe Go, and more.

Through My Teeth is another reminder of why Spacey Jane continue to lead the charge in Australia’s indie music scene.
