Stoney Roads Aim For DJ Relay World Record

movement-sydney-world-record

Music making/reporting conglomerate Stoney Roads in association with V MoVement Sydney have announced they’ll be hosting the Aussie dance music event of the year!

Stoney Roads have organised what will hopefully break the Guinness World Record for the world’s longest back to back DJ relay, which is set to feature over 150 of Australian DJs. The event will take place at Sydney Art Gallery 107 Projects on October 21, as part of the five-day V MoVement Sydney Festival which celebrates the nation’s best dance music.

The back to back DJ relay is set to span over 10 hours and earn a place in the infamous Guinness Book of World Records. Stoney Roads is encouraging dance music mixers to jump on board by registering to participate in the event which was created to celebrate Australian dance music, as well as inspire musical expression.

The world record attempt is just one of many events that will take place over the course of the five-day festival which will include secret warehouse parties, club nights, record swap meets, dance classes, live streams, and of course stellar performances from local and international artists.

The artist roster is set to feature a world exclusive debut performance by leading dance music group Mind Gamers, and will also include Rave Of Thrones (headed by Game Of Thrones’ very own Kristian Nairn aka Hodor!), Astral People artists like Wave Racer, Baro, Polographia, and Mall Grab, Nicole Millar, Indian Summer, Moonbase Commander, and Purple Sneakers DJs.
