Strangely Enough Are Back With New Music
Strangely Enough are back with some new music. The genre bending band have recently released their latest offering Long Time Coming, taken from their forth coming debut EP set to be released in the coming months.
Their previously releases have seen some great success with support from some of the biggest taste makers out there including MTV Australia, Triple J, Scenestr and more.
The new single knows no boundaries as it opens up with it’s layers of haunting guitar work, almost funky bass and sweet electronic tones. Lead vocalist Greg Olley’s vocals really add a smooth touch to the already captivating track.
Olley explains the meaning behind the single:
“Long Time Coming’ is about how we define ourselves with a series of snapshots of our lives. A graduation, a wedding, a holiday; this is sometimes how we construct an idea of who we are or used to be. Sometimes though these snapshots hide that we are constantly on the move, passing on to something else and yet still the same person.”
The band were set to perform a run of shows to back up the single release stopping over in Melbourne, Brisbane, Ballarat and the Gold Coast in April, however due to the Covid-19 outbreak unfortunately these shows have been postponed.
Long Time Coming is available now everywhere.
