Streetlights Capture Fleeting Love on New Indie Single ‘What’s Your Name Again?’

Boorloo/Perth indie-rock outfit Streetlights return with their infectious new single, ‘What’s Your Name Again?’. The track captures the electric rush of falling for a stranger across a crowded bus — a moment of instant chemistry that fades as quickly as it sparks.
Built on wiry guitars, shimmering synths, and soaring harmonies, ‘What’s Your Name Again?’ bottles the bittersweet ache of fleeting connection. It’s a nostalgic yet exhilarating reminder of how love can appear — and vanish — in an instant.
“You’re catching the bus and someone hops on and goes to sit directly across from you. You lock eyes and BAM! – you’ve fallen in love with a complete stranger, only for them to get off at the next stop”
Since emerging in 2021, Streetlights have become one of Perth’s most exciting rising bands, with their energetic live shows and standout debut EP Bad Actors (2024). They’ve supported national favourites like DICE, Surf Trash, and Death by Denim, while earning attention from triple j, Spotify, and Happy Mag.
To celebrate the release, Streetlights will launch ‘What’s Your Name Again?’ at Lyrics Underground, Maylands this Saturday, October 25, joined by Lazy Drive and Navy June.
‘What’s Your Name Again?’ is available now, everywhere.
