“Throughout my career, be it on festival line ups, writing camps or local club shows, there have only ever been a few experiences when I’m surrounded by more than a handful of other women and gender expansive artists at the one time.  It’s clear through ticket sales and the impact on the global stage, that Australian dance music is pushing boundaries and stronger than ever yet it’s undeniable that it’s still an incredibly male dominated space. I cannot wait to see the fierce creativity that comes out of having all of these absolute legends together making tunes.”KLP.

With Australia’s dance music scene booming on the global stage, Sweat It Out continues to nurture rising stars, having played a key role in the success of Dom Dolla, RÜFÜS DU SOL, Luude, and Odd Mob. This latest initiative aims to foster greater diversity and inclusion in an industry that remains heavily male-dominated, ensuring a new generation of voices can thrive.
