Katatonia Bringing Melodic Metal Down Under

Metal veterans Katatonia have announced their debut Australian headline tour for December! The Swedish 5-piece will bring their unique brand of metal complete with a formidable combination of multilayered guitar effects and heartfelt vocals.

This year saw the release of the band’s latest album, ‘The Fall of Hearts’. Critics and fans hailed the album’s progressive instrumentation and lyrical themes more potent than their previous albums.

Since forming in the early 90s, Katatonia have released ten studio albums and built a strong reputation as one of doom metal and dark rock’s most interesting contenders, creating music that has a mysterious and atmospheric aura. Katatonia last toured Australia in support of Opeth, so fans can look forward to a more immersive experience from their first headline tour.
