Sydney Alt Club Night ‘Last Words’ Finds New Home at The Lansdowne Hotel
Beloved Eora/Sydney alternative club night Last Words has announced a new chapter, relocating to the iconic Lansdowne Hotel following the sudden closure of live music operations at The Agincourt Hotel. Launching this Saturday, Last Words will now run weekly every Saturday, combining live music, alt-DJ sets, and high-energy party vibes in one of Sydney’s most historic venues.
The opening night promises a stacked lineup featuring Queensland heavy-hitters Warbear, alongside local legends Elaraand Lotus Born. Once the amps are off, DJs will spin crowd favourites from My Chemical Romance, Bring Me the Horizon, Slipknot, and more into the early hours. Expect giveaways, drink specials, afterparties, and discounted entry for local gig-goers.

Founded by Matt Raciti and Dan Harvey of B.A.D. Mgmt in late 2024, Last Words has quickly evolved into a cornerstone of Sydney’s emo, punk, and metal scene, offering a safe and inclusive space for fans. The Lansdowne upgrade brings enhanced production, late-night food, arcade games, a licensed smokers’ area, and yes—even a sex toy claw machine.
With Good Intent now booking the venue, known for hosting acts like Fontaines D.C., IDLES, and Spacey Jane, Last Words is set to get even louder.
