Tahi Unveils Dreamy New Single ‘Tend To Me’ Feat. Robotikus
Tasmanian indie dream pop outfit, Tahi has released their captivating new single, Tend To Me, featuring electronic producer Robotikus. Blending lush synth-pop textures with a touch of disco and funk, the track explores themes of morality, validation, and self-reflection, all delivered through Tahi’s signature ethereal vocals.
Recorded at Robotikus’ studio in Lutana, Hobart, Tend To Me came together organically, with the song’s foundation written in just 15 minutes. Robotikus crafted the initial arrangement in a single session, shaping the track with groovy beats, vintage 70s-inspired synths, and shimmering guitars. Co-producer Tarik Stoneman later added final touches, enhancing the song’s rich, atmospheric sound.

“The bare bones for the song ‘Tend To Me’ was written in about 15 minutes and the majority of the arrangement was made by Robotikus in the first sitting! When I got the first look back from Robotikus I knew the song was going somewhere synth-poppy and amazing, always a thrill for a songwriter to see their baby develop so naturally. The song is inspired by an old diary which is where the lyric “If my heart was growing wild just like a garden full of weeds, would you tend to me?” came from. The rest of the song followed that lead and asks more questions of the listener, usually something about morality or validation. Produced by Robotikus and co-produced by Tarik Stoneman, Robotikus had Tend To Me up to scratch with some generous use of sidechain and 70s style synthesizers and guitars that give the track its disco/funk feel. Tarik added some finishing touches such as some groovy beats and the song was sounding well rounded and ready to go!” – Leah Randall, Tahi.
Adding a unique flair to the production, wind chimes discovered under a house were incorporated into the track, reinforcing its dreamy and immersive quality. Tend To Me is an infectious and thought-provoking release. It’s available now, everywhere.
