Take 5 With Radicals

Sydney-based alternative-rock trio RADICALS have today revealed their thundering new single ‘falling faster slowly’ – produced by Daniel Antix at Def Wolf Studios (Pist Idiots, SCABZ, Clay J Gladstone). To celebrate the release and to find out more about the band, we threw them the aux cord to find out who they’re biggest inspirations are.

Silverchair – ‘Neon Ballroom’

One of the greatest grunge albums of all time and possibly the greatest Australian grunge album ever. We recently re-visited a lot of the classics on this album and reminded ourselves just how good Silverchair are.

The Vines – ‘Highly Evolved’

Possibly one of the most underappreciated pieces of work to ever be released. Don’t think there’s a single song on this album worth skipping. This album influenced us as a band massively and really helped shape our music.

Deadshowws – ‘So Forward’

Young aussie legends on the come up, who are yet to produce a song that isn’t a fucking banger. This ones our favourite. Do yourselves a favour and give it a spin.

Good Sniff – ‘Let Me Know’

Give-no-fucks two piece out of Geelong. These guys RIP. Every song makes you want to get up and flip a table. Were keen as hell to see them live.

Kingswood – ‘Bittersweet’

The new direction Kingswood are going in is so exciting. We’ve had this new track on repeat for months. Massive Queens of the Stone Age vibes and we can’t wait to hear more.

Radicals new single, falling faster slowly is available now, everywhere.
