Tambourine Jesus Share Stirring New Single and Video for ‘All My Love’

Melbourne/Naarm alt-rock duo Tambourine Jesus have unveiled their powerful new single ‘All My Love’, a raw and emotive anthem that blends post-punk urgency with cinematic storytelling. Following the success of their self-titled debut album, the track marks a bold new chapter for one of Australia’s most compelling emerging acts.

Self-produced and mixed by Joe Talia, ‘All My Love’ showcases the band’s signature mix of driving guitar work and heartfelt lyricism, with frontman James Gilligan delivering a poignant performance inspired by personal heartbreak and resilience. Drawing sonic influence from The Smile and Arthur Russell, the song reflects on the vulnerability of loving fully despite the fear of rejection.

‘All My Love’ was written around James’ and Liam’s experiences of having to believe in love again after heartbreaks. The song centres around the concept of giving all of one’s love to someone, knowing that they may not accept it, receive it or respect it. While working on this song, James’ father underwent an emergency triple bypass right as we were finishing the video — which tells a fantasy story of James giving his heart to his dying brother. Suddenly, the metaphor became real, and the song’s meaning deepened in ways we hadn’t expected.”Tambourine Jesus.

The accompanying music video, shot in North Warrandyte, unfolds like a short film, fusing dark humour and emotional tension as Gilligan’s character donates his heart to his dying brother. The concept took on new weight after Gilligan’s father underwent emergency triple bypass surgery during filming — a real-life parallel that deepens the track’s emotional core.

Having already sold out shows across Melbourne, Tambourine Jesus continue to prove why they’re one of the most exciting names in Australian indie rock. ‘All My Love’ is available now, everywhere.
