The Comfort Release Emotive Single “Your Heart”

The Comfort

Brisbane alternative rockers The Comfort have released the second single Your Heart from their upcoming EP ‘Love’, as well as a heartfelt music video accompanying the single.

Your Heart is the second song to be released from the EP, following the band’s last single Everstone, which received got a fair bit of airplay, and praise from critics. The songs see the band making a progression from the dark themes of their debut EP ‘Ghost’, to more mature, hopeful concepts.

Your Heart is a catchy track, with emotive vocals that float above the punchy drums and distorted guitars. The chorus refrain: “And all I want is for you to feel safe and sound” is growled into listeners ears, clearly carrying a vast array of emotions with it.

Guitarist and vocalist Liam Holmes says the song is about infatuation.

“You can use thousands of metaphors and analogies, but no words come close to pinpointing how and why you love them,” he says.

The video for the song reflects the honesty of the track, with clips of the band playing together in a small room shot at differing angles.

The band just got off a tour, and so they don’t have any live dates lined up for the foreseeable future. Check out the video for Your Heart below, and keep your ears ready for the band’s second EP ‘Love’, scheduled for release September 16th!
