Northlane & In Hearts Wake Joining Forces

Australian heavy music greats In Hearts Wake and Northlane are combining forces and hitting the road for an epic Australian tour this June. They’ll be bringing top-shelf hardcore to capital cities with friends Hands Like Houses and Ocean Grove for an all-Australian lineup. It’s gonna be loud, aggressive, and f*cking awesome!

Both In Hearts Wake and Northlane had a massive year 2015 with chart topping releases, ARIA nominations, and extensive touring overseas. However, the concept for ‘The Equinox’ tour had been floating in the air for quite some time.

Whilst on an North American tour last year, In Hearts Wake and Northlane discussed over a veggie feast the yearning for a motherland tour together. Now the concept has become reality!

‘The Equinox’ tour will be the first time both bands have shared the stage in Australia since UNIFY 2015. Since meeting as young wide-eyed hardcore outfits doing the Youth Centre rounds many years ago, Northlane and In Hearts Wake have forged an unbreakable bond which has seen both bands achieve incredible feats here and internationally.

“As our paths have crossed over the years the timing is finally right to embark on a co-headline tour that we’ve dreamt up together. It’s hard to think that it all started in a ghetto garage many years ago and here we are now,” In Hearts Wake’s Jake Taylor said.

Northlane’s Josh Smith is just as excited to jump back on the stage with his best mates, saying “we always want to be on the road with those guys but I think the fact that we’re both now in a pretty similar stage in our career makes it the right time to do something like this in Australia”.

“I can’t contain my excitement for this tour. We’ve never done anything like it before and who better to be doing it with than our best mates. I’ll cherish the memories of this tour forever,” Smith said.
