The Gears Are In Motion: Cog Are Back!
Cog tour rumours are confirmed and the boys are back on the road. After spending five and a half long years laying dormant, the trio will reconvene with a string of east coast shows this July and prog rock addicts couldn’t be happier.
Earlier this month the rockers teased fans with subtle Facebook updates causing quite a stir. Most fans interpreted this as a sign the boys were coming back and they were right. Shortly after the hype began tour dates were released and tickets went on sale.
After a successful twelve years of recording and extensive touring, Cog went into hibernation and its members pursued other musical projects. Cogs bro’s Flynn and Luke Gower formed The Occupants in 2012, releasing their EP in 2014 after their single I’ve Been Thinking. Meanwhile drummer Lucius Borich briefly joined Floating Me then went on to work with collaborator and friend Ezekiel Ox in The Nerve alongside Glenn Proudfoot and Davarj Thomas.
