The Jensens Are Taking Elvis For an East Coast Tour
After a stellar 2015 that saw them play to packed crowds almost fortnightly, Brisbane’s favourite retro-rockers The Jensens are taking their carefree and harmony-fueled live show down the East Coast.
Their latest single Elvis Is Dead is pure hand-clapping vintage rock tribute we can’t stop dancing to! The energetic and highly danceable track begins with an infectious rhythm that will have you Paul McCartney-style headbanging. From there you’ll find yourself uncontrollably Boo-uping and Shoo-uping, yet most likely not attempting frontman Joe Whites’ lead vocal screams.
Despite the track’s title, the spritely and lighthearted tune sounds even more accomplished than their previous triple j aired singles Fears and Shark Thunder.
The single is taken from the bands forthcoming EP ‘Everybody Talks’ which is due for release on Friday 11th March.
To help launch the new EP the Brissie 5-piece will be touring the East Coast in March, with shows in Brisbane, Maroochydore, Sydney, and Melbourne.
