The Jim Mitchells To Hit The Road With Psychedelic New Single

JimMitchells

After dropping their latest single You Unfollow Me, Sydney’s The Jim Mitchells have announced their first tour outside of NSW.

Off the back of Sydney’s Vivid Visions Showcase, Victorian fans can expect the band’s unique blend of psych-rock to blow them away when The Jim Mitchells hit the road this June/July.

Their new track You Unfollow Me is energetic and has a certain danceability to it. Thanks to sparkling guitar hooks and on-point vocal work, the track makes a fitting single to take on the road.

The Jim Mitchells’ previous single (and title track) Planet Absorbed takes cues from the likes of The Murlocs, sporting a harmonica solo and jangly guitars. There is a similar style that is found in You Unfollow Me, the new single provides an exciting indication of what to expect on their upcoming EP.

Having been compared to the likes of The Kinks, Ty Segall and King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, the second half of 2016 is treating up to be a massive one for the Sydney outfit.

Check out the new track below, and also have a look at their 60’s inspired music video for their previous single Planet Absorbed to see what you can expect from lads at their live shows.
