The Rions Release Debut Album ‘Everything Every Single Day’ and Drop New Video for ‘Scumbag’
Eora/Sydney indie-rock outfit The Rions have released their highly anticipated debut album Everything Every Single Day. Alongside the 13-track record, the band have also unveiled the official video for focus single ‘Scumbag’, directed by Nathan Rathsam (dust, Egoism, GAZAL).
Recorded over the past year with ARIA Award-winning producer Chris Collins (Ruby Fields, Pacific Avenue, Matt Corby), Everything Every Single Day sees The Rions deliver their most emotionally charged and musically ambitious work to date. Blending pristine pop-rock with influences ranging from Sam Fender and The Japanese House to The Beatles, the album balances vulnerability with cinematic scope.

The record features standout singles Tonight’s Entertainment, Maybe I’m Just a Freak, Shut You Out and Cry, with ‘Scumbag’ serving as one of its most personal cuts.
“Making an album always seemed like the impossible dream as kids. We didn’t know if we’d get to play shows or make a name for ourselves. We didn’t even know if we would write music that was any good. Still, having an album always went hand-in-hand with being a musician for us. This album is the most open wound we’ve allowed the world to see thus far. It’s all our triumphs, our regrets, our shortcomings, our philosophies, our hopes, and our dreams on a 13-track silver platter.” – The Rions.
Rising from their 2021 triple j Unearthed High win to selling out national and international tours, The Rions have quickly become one of Australia’s most promising young bands. With over 60 million streams and ARIA Gold-certified singles under their belt, their debut album marks a new chapter in their meteoric rise.
The Rions are celebrating Everything Every Single Day with a massive national theatre tour throughout October, before taking the album to the UK and Europe this November.
