The Rubens Announce ‘Hoops’ 10th Anniversary Shows at Oxford Art Factory
Australian alt-rock legends The Rubens are set to celebrate 10 years of their iconic, ARIA Gold-certified album Hoops with three special anniversary shows at Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory Main Room this August. Taking place on August 22, 23 and 24, the exclusive run follows a sold-out intimate warm-up gig at OAF Gallery and forms part of Oxford Art Factory’s 18th birthday celebrations.
Originally released in 2015, Hoops was a defining moment for the Menangle band, featuring the smash hit title track that claimed the #1 spot on triple j’s Hottest 100. The album cemented The Rubens as a staple of the Australian music scene, known for their emotive hooks, infectious energy, and genre-blending rock sound.
