The Smith Street Band Headline New Festival Weekend At The Wonk

Thesmithstreetband

From Melbourne, they’ve conquered the main stage of Splendour In The Grass, Australian tours, and made a second home in the United States. The Smith Street Band (TSSB) are now stripping it back to headline a mini festival alongside Jeff Rosenstock in the birthplace of their album ‘Throw Me In The River’.

Two years back the Victorian country town of Forrest was shaken by the union of TSSB and Rosenstock for the recording of ‘Throw Me In The River’ and a memorable night of acoustic performances from the two, plus Georgia Maq. Forrest is home to loveable pub, The Wonkey Donkey, which will play host to new festival Weekend At The Wonk this coming March.

The intimate festival will consist of a night of camping and a bunch of mates sharing music in what is said to be one of the most beautiful places on Earth.

Joining TSSB and of Rosenstock are The Hard Aches, Antarctigo Vespucci, The Sugarcanes, Camp Cope, and Worm.

Tickets go on sale 9am Monday 8th February HERE
