Shihad Announce Final Shows In ‘FVEY’ Tour Cycle

Kiwi alt-rockers Shihad have revealed the final tour dates for the band’s ‘FVEY’ album cycle. After a run of sold-out Aussie shows earlier this year, the group have revealed they are returning to to finish off the tour cycle for their ninth studio album ‘FVEY’.

The band have scheduled two shows in regional Victoria, before closing this chapter in the band’s career with a bang at Melbourne Music Week. For their Melbourne performance the band will be playing the iconic State Library, where they’ll surely break every rule about maintaining silence in a library that’s ever been laid down by a librarian. After these shows the group are said to be going into hibernation to record their tenth album.

Illy Drops New Single “Catch 22” + Announces New Album + Launch Shows!

Melbourne-based emcee Illy has just dropped his new single Catch 22, which features an appearance from British singer Anne-Marie. On top of debuting his new track, Illy has announced his upcoming fifth studio album ‘Two Degrees’ is set to be released on Friday the 11th of October!

Hot on the heels of this news, Illy also announced a handful of intimate launch shows  in Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne, where he’ll be performing ‘Two Degrees’ in it’s entirety. These shows will have a limited capacity and tickets go on sale Wednesday the 12th of October 9am local time, so get in quick to avoid missing out!

Brace Yourselves for a Birds Of Tokyo National Tour

Birds of Tokyo have announced a national tour in support of their new album ‘Brace’, which is due out Friday 4th of November. The group gave their new material a live debut a few weeks ago at a secret gig in Sydney, and the coming string of shows will see the band bring this new material to all parts of the country!

This tour will see the band unleash new material from ‘Brace’, which is some of the heaviest, darkest and most intense music they’ve produced to date. The combination of Birds of Tokyo plus supports Strangers and Introvert will make for a night of stadium-sized post-apocalyptic rock that any self respecting rock fan will not want to miss!

Tyne James-Organ Announces ‘In Her Arms’ Tour

Wollongong singer-songwriter Tyne-James Organ has announced his ‘In Her Arms’ tour, which will see him play a string of East Coast shows! Earlier this year Tyne-James joined Allday on his national tour, snapping up a bunch of new fans and playing to sold out crowds along the way. After wrapping the tour up he hit the studio to record his debut EP and now he’s bringing some of that new music on tour!

Tyne’s last tour sold out well in advance, so don’t wait to grab a ticket! He’ll be supported by Dylan Joel, who’s 2015 debut album ‘Authentic Lemonade’ turned heads across the nation, and his recent triple j Like A Version of Randy Newman’s You’ve Got A Friend In Me went down an absolute treat.

American Hard Hitters Halestorm Announce Aussie Tour

Grammy Award-winning hard rock outfit Halestorm have just announced their Aussie East Coast tour dates for January 2017! This will be Halestorm’s second jaunt Down Under on the back of their 2014 album ‘Into the Wild Life’.

Playing several shows in Australia last year, Halestorm amazed audiences with their high intensity live shows and are sure to bring the ruckus with them on their return. Having toured almost non-stop since 2014 with bands such as Papa Roach, Disturbed, Avenged Sevenfold, Hellyeah, and Bullet For My Valentine, Halestorm are sure to be in fine form! Elvis Presley’s Ghost To Tour Australia

The ghost of Elvis Presley is hitting Australia for an Aussie tour…sort of. Backed by a 40-piece philharmonic orchestra, Elvis’ virtual likeness will be making his way across Australia, performing live at arenas all over the country in 2017.

The tour features symphonically re-worked versions of from the King’s vast collection of hits, and is a must see for any fan of Elvis! ‘The Wonder of You’ tour, named after the orchestral album of the same name, is being touted as the closest thing to seeing Elvis there is!

The tour will feature a live orchestra performing the music live, accompanied by video of Elvis performing, projected on a huge screen behind them. Priscilla Presley will appear live on stage as well, accompanying the orchestra. So break out your blue suede shoes and shake a tail feather to make sure you get a ticket to what surely will be a fantastic show!

LANKS Drops Video For Holla & Co-headline Tour with Hein Cooper

Melbourne based electronica artist LANKS’ highly anticipated EP ‘Viet Rose’ is set to drop Friday 14th of October, and he’s just released his self-produced video for Holla as well as announcing a massive co-headline tour with Hein Cooper!

After supporting Vera Blue on her national tour earlier this year and delivering a fantastic set at BIGSOUND, LANKS just keeps going! This national tour with Hein Cooper see’s LANKS traverse the entire East Coast of Australia, and will see him deliver his unique brand of folk influenced electronica to audiences from Sydney to Noosa!

Named after his favourite laksa restaurant in Melbourne, ‘Viet Rose’ pays homage to friends and family who continue to inspire LANKS, and it is to these people whom the EP is dedicated. ‘Viet Rose’ draws from an extremely rich sonic palette, one that has contributed to LANKS’ extremely unique sound, and will surely be a fantastic EP!
