Welcome to the AAA Backstage Weekly Slap, where we give you the latest new music we think absolutely slaps! Each week we scour through our emails and bring to you the top hits from our inbox. So sit back, whack on your headphones, turn the dial to eleven and let us do the selecting.

We’re always super spoiled for new music and we’re sure you’ll love this weeks additions! There is something in there for everyone.

Ethan Jegers – Milky Way

First up this week we enter the bright and bopping world of Ethan Jegers and his recent single, Milky Way. This one is a bright tune that instantly lifts your mood, buzzing melodies and cheerful moments certainly make it pop, best listened to on your train ride home on a Friday afternoon.

Mint Tulip – Mermaid

Mint Tulip’s recent single, Mermaid is a washy number that softly hovers around your head like a gentle dream. It has an ethereal delivery and gives you a warm and fuzzy feeling. Written about meeting the someone you’re instantly drawn to, it’s sure to draw every music lover in with it’s cosy feeling.

Darcy Lane – Aloe Vera

Darcy Lane is a bit of a favourite here at AAA and her recent single, Aloe Vera is another breath of fresh air. Her knack for writing absolute gems is showing no sign of slowing down. Catchy vocal hooks and bopping beats will have this one stuck in your head for days!

Alex Daniell and Hayley Warwick – Calm

This one is for those dance music lovers out there that crave a bit of feel in their beats. Lush sundrenched beats with moving harmonies and dynamic melodies give this one a real edge, it carries a chilled vive that is sure to ‘calm’ any mood.

Nik Dandelion – Trip

German artist Nik Dandelion’s latest bop, Trip is one of those tracks that oozes with all the cool, it’s super hard to dislike anything about this track. It’s edgy, it’s filled with headswaying moments and super addictive. A toe-tapping treat from start to finish.

Earth To Cheska – Girls Gone Wild

If a classic 90’s alt-rock sound is your thing then Earth To Cheska is right up your alley. Her latest track, Girls Gone Wild is one those tracks that instantly slaps! Gritty guitars, thumping drums and a true vocal delivery that is sure to empower you. You’ll be raising your fist to this one!

Carmon – Scatterbrain

Closing out this week is Scatterbrain from Sydney based artist, Carmon. This one carries a gentle vibe and lyrically takes you into the brain of someone with ADHD. Taken from her recent EP, it’s refreshingly calming and super catchy with some top shelf songwriting, perfect for you chill playlists.
