The Silver Spurs – LOVERS
If music that covers a wide range of energy and theatrics is your thing then The Silver Spurs latest gem, LOVERS is going to be right up your alley. Taken from their debut EP WYATT FAMILY RANCH, this track is packed with energy and wouldn’t be out of place in a Tarantino soundtrack.
The Short Fall – This City
Released just today, The Short Fall’s newest gem, This City is one of those tracks that carries all the catchy hooks. This one is perfect for those arvo commutes home in the car, windows down just singing along. Some serious toe tapping and high spirited vibes here.
Bloodyarvo – A Party In Your Chest
When this track landed on my desk, it gave me some serious 2010’s indie dance vibes. Bopping energy meets big build ups and sing along moments with a style of production that is uniquely Bloodyarvo. I’ve had this one stuck in my head for a couple of weeks now and I’m sure you will too.
Tim Sun – Rotations
A regular in our playlists and The Weekly Slap, Tim Sun is back with another epic number that is sure to tickle any electronic music lovers fancy! Rotations flows with experimental energy, slapping beats with glitchy synth work and flowing samples are sure to get you moving. This one is perfect for your obscure electronic playlists.
mxmtoon – i hate texas
Taken from her forthcoming third album, mxmtoon’s latest release, i hate texas is track that stands out as her most powerful and intimate work yet. Co-written with underscores, “i hate texas” is a fiddle-accented tune that explores a post-breakup escape fantasy, blending poetic lyrics with unapologetic honesty. A moody number that is sure to be a hit in any playlist.
All these tracks and more are added to our Weekly Catch Spotify and Apple Music playlists. So if you want an easy option where you just push and play and shuffle away, we’ve got you!
If you’re an independent artist and want to have your music featured in The Weekly Slap hit us up! You can pitch your music via Musosoup, Groover or Direct!
