The Weekly Slap #56

Welcome to the AAA Backstage Weekly Slap, where we give you the latest new music we think absolutely slaps! Each week we scour through our emails and bring to you the top hits from our inbox. So sit back, whack on your headphones, turn the dial to eleven and let us do the selecting.

Lilith – Your Games

We kick off this weeks slap with a moody track from newcomer Lilith and her debut single, Your Games. If you like your music on the darker, brooding side of things then this one is certainly for you. Enticing tones, gentle guitar work and Lilith’s haunting vocal delivery are sure to get this one stuck in your head for days!

The Rayes – Thoughts

If you love a good old indie jam that oozes with nostalgia then we’ve found your anthem. The Rayes recent single, Thoughts is going to be a stayer in your playlists. It’s an ‘80s-inspired track that immediately transports listeners through time with its nostalgic drumbeat. The song shimmers with playful harmonies, chiming synths, and gritty guitar riffs. Its lyrics offer a stream-of-consciousness exploration, delving into the hidden thoughts and musings that captivate and intrigue.

LosA – Move Different

LA indie pop artist, LosA’s recent single Move Different is another one of those tracks that oozes with vibe. A super catchy alt pop number that is an ideal addition to those brighter playlists. Playful production with LosA’s addictive vocal delivery bring this track to life. It’s catchy as hell.

Seven Red Lions – Titan

What’s a weekly slap without some gritty rock music. UK rockers Seven Red Lions nail that narrative with their recent single, Titan. Punchy drums, absolutely ripping guitar work and psychedelic vocals make this one pop off. An ideal addition to any classic rock playlist.

The Ocean Beneath x Ōkubi – Last Hope

If you’re into mellow electronica we’ve found one for you. The Ocean Beneath and Ōkubi have put their heads together for a track that takes you on a journey into another realm. If you like earlier Bicep, Who Made Who or the likes of, then you’re going to love this track. Perfect for those stripped back playlists.

All these tracks and more are added to our Weekly Catch Spotify and Apple Music playlists. So if you want an easy option where you just push and play and shuffle away, we’ve got you!

If  you’re an independent artist and want to have your music featured in The Weekly Slap hit us up! You can pitch your music via Musosoup, Groover or Direct!
