Things Are About To Get Patriotic With Caravãna Sun’s Three HUGE Announcements

Sydney alt-rockers Caravãna Sun have released their fifth studio album ‘Guerrilla Club’. As if new music from these gents wasn’t already exciting enough, they’ve also got a national tour about to kick off, with a SURPRISE duo set at Bigsound this week!

‘Guerrilla Club’ is all about Australia and its culture. “Each song of this album has a one common thread that bounds them together and that’s through our connection to country.” says lead vocalist/guitarist Luke Carra. 

Not only does the new album ooze with Australiana pride, it also sounds great. The band has taken a more contemporary and diverse approach in ‘Guerrilla Club’ than in previous works. Singles Open Up and Eye Of The Storm are a fast paced blend of electrics, synth, and classic drum beat. While Cygnet Bay, The Tourist, and Days Like These mellow things out with well placed use of piano and brass.

After playing over 500 shows all over the world in the last five years, the Sydney quartet are excited to be back in Australia. They’re just about to head off on a massive 23 date tour around urban and rural Australia. With their first show a surprise duo set at Footstomp’s BIGSOUND Showcase in Brissy this week, this national tour is set to be a good one.
