Time To Head Straight To The Nearest Club, Disclosure Releases EP ‘Moog For Love’

Grammy-nominated dance duo Disclosure have answered our prayers, releasing a brand new EP ‘Moog For Love’.

Backing up their platinum debut album ‘Settle’ and chart-topping ‘Caracal’, we expect nothing less than awesome from the party pair. Unfortunately the EP only provides us with three tracks, but you know what they say – good things come in small packages!

The boys debuted the first single BOSS last Saturday at Wildlife Festival in the UK. In classic Disclosure style, the track features a slow build up of snares and warped vocals before it drops into a banger with its mix of cool mid-tempo beats and soulful synthesisers.

Title track Moog For Love is a cool collaboration with another British electronic star Eats Everything. The track will leave you feeling a little tropical with a fresh mixture of synchronised claps and bongos.

The brothers are known for their variety of collaborations (London Grammar, Lorde, AlunaGeorge…you get the picture) and their versatile use of samples, and the last track on the EP Feel Like I Do is a perfect example of this in action. With samples from soul legend Al Green, the song embodies a whimsical time machine of swaying percussions mixed with some soothing “oohs” and “ahs”.

‘Moog For Love’ is peppered with groovy sounds and is a little less raucous than their previous releases, but Disclosure’s version of “tame” dance music will still have you dancing around your living room!
